Kali's Graduation

Even though we aren't sending her to kindergarten..I got a little choked up at the preschool graduation, it was so cute..can only imagine how fast time will fly and she will be graduating from high school....here are some of the pictures..

Today Cody looks at me across the table at lunch and completely out of the blue says.."Mommy, your hair is just beautiful!"

What a sweet little boy just like his daddy..:) He is going to make one lucky lady a darn good husband one day.

Outside

I love this time of the year..almost as much as the kids..they love being outside. We play outside for hours and hours. We have had a garage sale the past 2 days at our house for our church and our kids have had a blast being outside with all the other kids from our small group and are exhausted. There has been 10+kids in and out of our house.. It is 7:20 AM on Friday morning and both are still sleeping..( normal for Kali..not for Cody!!)

Zoo Field Trip

Kali had a preschool field trip to the zoo on Thursday and Nana went with her. They had a great time despite the rain. The pictures are a little small..but you get the idea.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a special day to remind me of how blessed I am to have 2 sweet healthy little kids and a wonderful husband who makes Mothers Day so special. Sleeping in, flowers, a special breakfast with an omelet, toast, bacon and OJ, Skim Vanilla Latte with the Sunday paper,and necklaces with the kids names and birth-dates on them. It also reminds me how blessed I am to have an amazing mother who has loved me and supported me all my life and still does. I often think of all my friends and family that lost their mothers and say a little prayer for them today..as it is special day for them too but a tough day for them as well.. Happy Mothers Day to you!

Kali's Field Trip To The Bowling Alley/DQ

Kali and her preschool class went bowling and to the DQ a few weeks back. Andy got to go with her..here are some highlights of her trip.. her first strike, her lane's score,(she won!) and her making her own Dairy Queen cone!

The 3 Year Old Check-Up

What an amazing boy..talked to the doctor, laughed with the doctor, let him do everything he was suppose to. The nurse said, " I have never had a 3 year old do such a great job on the hearing and vision test, they usually can't do it because they are too little." I wish I would have had a video, when Cody put the headphones on and heard the beeps in his ears..both hands shot into the air with enthusiasm..it was adorable..they were all smiling at him in the doctor's office...as my little boy showed his incredible personality and then came the shot...which broke everyone's heart including mine as he screamed and cried as if it was worst pain anyone could ever imagine, "Ouch..that hurts, he yelled through his tears.. I don't want one of those!" Poor little guy..now he is napping..
