Happy Halloween

Today we had a Neighborhood Parade at the park. The kids had cookies and juice, did the limbo, walked around for a parade, and went on a hayride. What a great time they had! Tonight, Trick or Treating..

Kali Singing

Kali loves to listen to music on my ipod so I put some music of hers on mine. Here is her singing away..pretty funny!

Halloween Parties

Kali is only 4 years old and has 5 different Halloween Events:

1.) Gymnastics Halloween Party ( above picture)
2.) Preschool Halloween Party
3.) Halloween Party with some of my friends from school
4.) Neighborhood Halloween Parade
5.) Trick or Treating

Whoa...and she and Cody had an awesome time at Becky's the other they painted pumpkins. And for lunch they had Mummy hotdogs, Witch's fingers (green beans), eye balls(grapes) and Vampires teeth (cantaloupe)! They also got little treats bins from Becky with flashlights, candy, and pencils. I keep telling you how awesome she is..Oh...the fun!!

Fire Station

This week Kali had a field trip to the fire station. Grandma Pat came down to go with her. She had a blast, however her favorite part was riding the bus!

First Haircut

Cody had his first haircut today. Yeah, I know he is almost 2 and a half and his hair doesn't grow fast...just like his sister's hair. We went to Great Clips and he sat perfect. It was pretty adorable as he starting chatting to the lady about the penguins on the cape he gave her.

Another Beautiful Fall Day

Today we went to Fall Harvest with my friend Kelly and her 2 kids. Kali and Cody got see more animals and go on a wagon ride pulled by a tractor. It was another beautiful fall day out!

101 Market

Today we went to the 101 Market, and did the following:

Kali rode a pony!




Saw, fed, and pet a lot of animals. Cody was much braver than Kali.







Played in the corn pile and buried Cody!





Rode on the Animal Train by themselves (10 minutes! Long ride! Loved it!)

A Day for the Kids

Many days we do what I want to do, we meet friends I want to see, and go places I want to go to. Now, don't get wrong, they usually want to go to these places too and see these friends too, but today we did what they wanted to do. So this is what our day consisted of. We got up had breakfast,(Waffles..their choice) watched a new show that started this fall, it is the The Cat and the Hat on PBS..my kids love it. Anyway, we got ready and went to buy costumes and pumpkins for Halloween. They had been begging me for days to do this. So we found Cody's Buzz Lightyear costume from Toy Story, but did not find Kali's Jessie costume. We will continue the search tomorrow. We then stopped at park and played for a long time and had a picnic. We came home took a nap or had quiet time in Kali's case. She then came outside with me and set the pumpkins and flowers on the front porch and complained that it was so hot. So I told her to go and get her swimming suit and she could run through the sprinkler. She looked at me like I was nuts.." Really??" "Sure" I said.." IT IS HOT!" 89 degrees today! Crazy!! So they ran through the sprinkler and we had hamburgers on the grill for dinner with some of their friends and went to the football game tonight. What a fun day it was! Here are some pictures to see the fun we had! It was fun to let them kind of decide the day!
