Many days we do what I want to do, we meet friends I want to see, and go places I want to go to. Now, don't get wrong, they usually want to go to these places too and see these friends too, but today we did what they wanted to do. So this is what our day consisted of. We got up had breakfast,(Waffles..their choice) watched a new show that started this fall, it is the The Cat and the Hat on PBS..my kids love it. Anyway, we got ready and went to buy costumes and pumpkins for Halloween. They had been begging me for days to do this. So we found Cody's Buzz Lightyear costume from Toy Story, but did not find Kali's Jessie costume. We will continue the search tomorrow. We then stopped at park and played for a long time and had a picnic. We came home took a nap or had quiet time in Kali's case. She then came outside with me and set the pumpkins and flowers on the front porch and complained that it was so hot. So I told her to go and get her swimming suit and she could run through the sprinkler. She looked at me like I was nuts.." Really??" "Sure" I said.." IT IS HOT!" 89 degrees today! Crazy!! So they ran through the sprinkler and we had hamburgers on the grill for dinner with some of their friends and went to the football game tonight. What a fun day it was!
