I Love to Read Month

As the month of February comes to an end, so does the month called I love to Read Month. As a teacher, we do many things in school with this. In the middle school they hung pictures of the staff reading so we took this picture of Andy reading to Kali. She loves this book (What Daddy Loves) and loves when her daddy reads to her!

Slacker

I have been kind of slacker with pictures and my blog..I will work on it..sorry!

So here is the conversation between Kali and Cody at lunch yesterday:

Cody: My, Mommy..

Kali: No Cody, she is my mommy too.

Cody looks at me for input and then says louder: NO!! MY MOMMY!!

Kali: Cody, They are both my mom and dad too, not just yours. They love us both. ( in a very sad voice)

Cody: Fine, MY Daddy then..

I had a good laugh about this one.

Preschool and PJ Day At Lisa's

This past week was winter week at my school so we had dress up days, one of those days was Pajama Day. Kali was very sad that I could wear my pjs to school but she had to wear her clothes her to Lisa's. So being the awesome lady Lisa is, the next day she had pajama day.

So the next day was both PAJAMA DAY and PRESCHOOL DAY! One of the teachers from Bright Beginnings Preschool (where Kali goes) comes to Lisa's once a month and does pre-school activities for the kids. Everyone at Lisa's was SUPER excited to see each other in their pjs! Lots and lots of, “Hey I’m in my PAJAMAS!!!!” to which their friend replies, “I’m in MY pajamas too!’’ Ba ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! They all looked CUTE as a BUTTON and here are some pictures Lisa took.

The theme for the preschool lesson was hearts, so Cody was getting to listen like a doctor to the teacher's heart. A future doctor in the family? Maybe??

Another week gone..

Hard to believe another week has come and gone. It is amazing how quickly the weeks pass by. Kali and Cody are loving each other more every day and playing so well together. Kali constantly wants Cody to come and play with her. Kali is very independent and can do so many things herself. Cody is also trying very hard to have that independence. He is constantly saying, " Potty" and we have been putting him on the toilet often before bath and other times he says it. Well, today at lunch he said it and he went for the first time poop and pee! WOW! Maybe we will another trained by the age of 2. Yeah right, I am not holding my breath. But it was quite exciting for us in our household today. Kali was so proud of him!!! :)
