Getted settled

Well..we have moved and we love it..being in a new house, with new things, and close to work..it is awesome. After months of going unplugged...( no internet, home phone, or TV) today after living here for a few weeks we have it all back and I have to say it is awesome and was totally worth it. More to come in the next days and months.. because I am back!!!

Reading Books

Cody is completely into books right now. He wants to sit on your lap and will go and get book after book and have you read them. When you finish it he says "AGAIN" and pushes on the book. It is pretty funny. He knows so many words from all the stories he is hearing. His favorites are books about puppies and farm animals so he can make the sounds that go with them.

Kali loves to read him books, the other night when I was cleaning up the kitchen after dinner she had Cody on her lap and was reading him his favorite dog book. By the time I got the camera they had finished and were reading in a different spot, but it is still a pretty cute picture!

House is almost done

I drove by Friday after school and saw this..and then and the end of the day, they completed the siding, sod, sprinkler system, mulch, and trees! Can't wait to move in..it is close! No carpet yet inside, but you can the the inside is done except for that!

Halloween

What a fun weekend! Friday night we carved pumpkins and Saturday we went Trick-or-Treating downtown at all the shops in the afternoon and then in our neighborhood in the evening. The kids loved handing out candy at home and then we went to a Halloween party where there were lots of kids! It was a blast!

Update

The house is coming along awesome! I can't believe how fast things are going in the house. The windows and garage door are in. The entire house is sheetrocked, the shingles are on, and the garage floor is poured. We are looking forward to siding next and a driveway. Still thinking early December will be our move in date. It has been fun and our builder has been awesome!

Kids are great. We spent last weekend at home going to the Apple Orchard, playing at home, and Kali went to a Tinkerbell Birthday Party. She loved it. A treasure hunt, fairy wings, princess cake, a bounce house, and friends. She was in heaven! I will download the pictures so you can see later!

Andy is doing well, The new job is great and I have heard many wonderful things about him from others in the district. I am very proud of him.

Working full-time has been an adjustment for me this fall. I have a great class and love the kids, but will be excited when my job share partner comes back after her leave in January. I miss her!

Roof on!!

It is amazing how fast they can build a house. Just a week ago I posted the hole in the ground! Here is the progress as of today! EXCITING!
